Supporting You As You Grieve
You weren’t meant to carry grief alone
Grief is unpredictable. Some days feel gentle. Others feel like you can’t breathe. And while the world keeps rushing on… you’re left wondering:
How do I keep going when my heart is still broken?
Where is God in this pain?
Is it even possible to feel peace again?
If this is where you are—sister, you are not alone. And you don’t have to stay stuck here.
Whether you’re facing quiet mornings filled with tears, unexpected waves of sadness, or tough questions in prayer, you deserve a space to process your grief with faith and support.
That’s why I’ve created two Catholic grief coaching options—
designed to meet you where you are, in the way you need.
1:1 Voxer Coaching – Support On Your Schedule
Private, flexible grief coaching through the Voxer walkie-talkie app
Voxer coaching gives you direct access to me throughout the day—without having to schedule calls or rearrange your calendar. Whether you’re having a hard moment in the middle of the day, wrestling with God in prayer, or needing a small reminder of hope, I’m just a voice message away.
This option is perfect for you if:
- You need flexible, on-demand support
- You process best in small, thoughtful moments
- You want personal, private guidance from someone who shares your faith
Catholic. Compassionate. Convenient.
Group Coaching – Community and Healing
Faith-based group coaching for Catholic women walking through grief
Join a supportive circle of women who understand your pain and share your faith. In this 4-week (Friday’s at Noon CST) group coaching program, you’ll receive weekly live support, spiritual encouragement, and practical tools to help you move forward without forgetting the one you love.
This group is a good fit if:
- You want to connect with other Catholic women who are grieving
- You long for community, prayer, and shared healing
- You’re looking for structured support and accountability
Groups are limited in size to foster real connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’m not grieving the ‘right’ way?
There is no timeline for grief. Whether it’s been 3 weeks or 3 years, your pain is real—and you’re welcome here.
What if I get emotional or cry during coaching?
You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are. This is a safe and sacred space.
Do I have to talk about my faith?
No. Your faith is honored here, but you don’t have to talk about it. Everything we do is rooted in the Catholic understanding of suffering, redemption, and eternal life
I don’t know what grief coaching actually is.
Think of grief coaching as a gentle guide—someone who listens, affirms your experience, and helps you navigate the fog of grief with clarity, tools, and hope.
I already have a spiritual director / therapist.
Grief coaching is not therapy or spiritual direction. It’s a unique kind of support—practical, faith-aligned, and focused on helping you integrate your grief into everyday life. It can complement your other support beautifully.

About Me
My name is Nichole Haugen. I am a grief coach, cradle Catholic and grew up on a ranch in North Dakota. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. I have worked in long term care, hospice and home health, with hospice being my passion.
In 2019 both of my parents died. My dad died in the summer after a ten year battle with prostrate cancer. Four months later my mom died; tragically and suddenly, in an accident. A month later I found out about a large debt my husband had been hiding from me. Two months after that-COVID. Needless to say I was spinning in overwhelm, anger, sadness, grief, and everything in between.
Something needed to change. All the tools that I have learned about, I now help others with. I help Catholic women who are caregivers or grieving the loss of a loved one. I help you with the flood of emotions that come and go with grief. Grief is not linear and it feels like every time you feel sad, you start to spiral. Grief can feel so lonely, but you don’t have to go it alone.
Testimonials
“Personal coaching is amazing! She (Nichole) helps me so much. She can see things I can’t see.”
“One on One Coaching helped me with accountability.”
“Nichole’s coaching has helped me organize and focus my thoughts.”
“I have been in grief groups before and wasn’t sure if this one would be different. It really was. The faith aspect was a game changer. I didn’t realize how stuck I was. I feel like I am back to ‘normal’ and doing things I enjoy again.”
I’ve had 3 coaching sessions/2 weeks apart with Nicole & I have changed 1 habit and I’m working an another problem that has made me feel really bad. It takes me 2-3 weeks to intentionally work on plans that Nicole & I think will work. The process has really helped me change lifestyles; however, before it’s a habit I expect about 9-12 weeks to eliminate 1 behavior and replace it with another better one.
